Lobby

Well I finished fire school, still waiting on the state test results but I am sure I did fine. I am starting work soon at an ambulance company here in Orlando called American Ambulance. Meanwhile I am looking for a job as a career firefighter now, also preparing for a hiring test for nine or so different departments towards the end of February. That means I have to read two textbooks and stay in shape. Or get in shape. Either or...I'm in decent shape now but I'm not in five minute mile shape like I used to be.

I was very fortunate to go to Vermont this last December and see snow for the first time in my life. It's like cold sand that disappears and doesn't stick. I went running up a mountain in snow shoes...that is a workout. I saw a bar that was made of solid ice, no joke--they have these ice sculptors who build it every year and it lasts for like 4 months because it is so cold all year long.

This past year was a very interesting one, between graduating college, going through fire school, and, for the first time, having nothing and everything on my horizon. I've never really had this much freedom before. I could move to anywhere in the world if I wanted to, but something tells me my work here is not done yet.

For those of you who don't know, read this story. It's the last one I wrote and I haven't been able to write since then and I'm not sure why... ------> "Cling"

Current music - Got a new band....very catchy, called Panic! At the Disco....reminds me of Fallout boy some....get the song "london beckoned songs about money by machines" Yeah I know it sounds weird but try it out.

Current movies - King Kong...if you haven't seen it, go watch it....great movie. Also Munich was a great film as well, a bit down though. Anchorman, Dodgeball.

Current television - Family Guy, Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, the usual....
